Powered by Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPU, the VEGA-300 edge AI module can deliver best performance/power across AI workloads on edge devices with maximum flexibility while performing up to 1.5x faster than CPU-only platforms. The VEGA-300 series comes with two form factors: the VEGA-320 series m.2 modules with one Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPU onboard and the VEGA-330 series miniPCIe modules with two Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPUs onboard. The VEGA-300 series is compact enough to be plugged into edge devices, performs deep learning inference, and can turn data into actionable insights with higher accuracy and faster response times with less than 3.8 watts of power.
Speeding Up AI-Enabled Application Development
To help customers rapidly enable deep learning inferences on their edge devices with VEGA-300 modules plugged in, Advantech offers Edge AI Suite. With Intel’s Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and pre-trained models integrated, Edge AI Suite provides a deep learning model optimizer, an inference engine, pre-trained models, and a friendly GUI toolkit. Customers can use Python-based tools to quickly import their existing Caffe, TensorFlow, and Apache MXNet trained models and deploy them to edge devices. Edge AI Suite also integrates VPU/CPU/Memory for real-time status monitoring and model update functions for managing distributed edge devices.
